GuideControl — Ensure Safe Guidewire Use Every Time
Automated testing of flexibility, lumen integrity, and torsion to reduce risk and enhance patient safety in interventional procedures
Never a broken light guide cable in your OR again
With GuideControl in your workflow, testing every cable before use will make sure you will never have a broken light guide cable in your OR again
Extend equipment lifespan by 25%
A bad light guide cable results in exponential wear and tear of the cable, endoscope and light source. When working with good cables, less brightness is needed from your light source, putting less strain on the light fibers both your cable and endoscope, extending the lifespan of your cables, scopes and light sources
Automatically comply to regulations
When you have GuideControl connected to EndoscopeManager, you'll have a complete database of all your tests that are easy to navigate by serial number
Fits all brands and types
GuideControl has auto diameter detection. It automatically detects the diameter of your connectors, allowing you to test any brand or type. So no more rummaging through your pile of testers trying to find the right one
How we test
Watch some of our videoes on how we test with GuideControl
Light Transmission
Measures light transmission of the lenses (lux). The device uses a calibrated light source which passes through the endoscope to the eye piece which is connected to a camera
Color Correctness
Measures the color correctness of the light after being transmitted through the cable based on the HSV value. This eliminates the possibility of misinterpretation of the image during surgery due to discolored light
